About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 dietitian to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a specialist dietitian, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality, evidence-based clinical service to patients with head and neck conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an in-patient caseload of surgical patients and provide an outpatient service to oncology and medical/surgical patients.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based knowledge.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and implement service development initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate junior staff, ensuring their education and development needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical education and supervision programs.

Requirements
  • Degree in Dietetics (and Nutrition) and State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Significant recent clinical experience in a relevant clinical area and evidence of a broad base of clinical experience at Band 6 level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and inter-agency working.
  • Ability to remain updated with professional practice and research and integrate this into daily patient management.
