About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 or Band 7 dietitian to take the lead in providing a comprehensive service to the Oncology services, including inpatients, Radiotherapy, and Chemotherapy outpatient services for Head and Neck Dietetic services.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate and improve services, update policies and procedures.
- Regularly participate in research and audit within oncology and the wider Dietetic Service.
- Participate and contribute to the Nutrition Team and provide cover for other specialist service areas as required.
- Plan, organise, allocate, and train students in oncology.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team working and maintain close liaison between acute and community teams.
- Supervise the oncology dietetic team and junior staff.
- BSc in Dietetics (4 year degree course) or equivalent State Registered Dietitian with HCPC and BDA membership.
- BDA postgraduate diploma in advanced dietetic practice or equivalent, and if trained, Non-medical prescribing qualification registered with HCPC.
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £51,883 to £58,544 a year (pro-rata if LTFT).
