Nuclear Medicine Clinical Expert

We are recruiting for a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Clinical Expert to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our radiation services team, you will be responsible for providing expert scientific and technical support to nuclear medicine services across multiple sites.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinical scientist to lead the delivery of scientific and technical support to nuclear medicine services. You will work closely with our head of nuclear medicine and other service leads to ensure that organizations deliver statutory obligations with respect to the safe use of ionising radiation.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of medical physics and nuclear medicine, as well as experience in working with ionising radiation. They will also possess strong leadership skills and be able to communicate complex information effectively across professional boundaries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert scientific and technical support to nuclear medicine services
- Lead the delivery of scientific and technical support to nuclear medicine services
- Work closely with service leads to ensure compliance with statutory obligations
- Develop and implement QA programs for nuclear medicine equipment
The salary for this role is approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
