About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Department Manager to lead our Radiology team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in Nuclear Medicine and proven leadership skills to drive operational and strategic business planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist clinical expertise and guidance to staff
  • Lead the delivery of current and future services, ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Audit and prepare for CQC inspections, promoting excellence in service delivery
  • Develop and implement operational and strategic business plans for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT
  • Perform all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures with flexibility and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with staff and patients, ensuring a pleasant environment and excellent customer experience

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration (if Radiographer)
  • Technologists Nuclear Medicine (if not radiographer)
  • B.Sc. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent (essential)
  • Substantial, post-graduate experience in a relevant post (essential)
  • Postgraduate studies in Radionuclide Imaging (desirable)
  • Paediatric cases (essential)
  • PACs trained (essential)
  • Participated in audit process (essential)
  • IV Competency (locally or nationally certified)

Salary and Benefits:

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £56,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

We offer a range of benefits, including payment of Professional Registration fees, equivalent to 25 days holiday per year, Bupa health insurance as a benefit in kind, and an enhanced pension plan and life insurance.
