Job Title: Code Compliance Officer

Join Dundee City Council as a Code Compliance Officer and contribute to the delivery of high-quality public protection services. This role is responsible for maintaining a strong social work knowledge base and ensuring staff within the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership are enabled to provide effective and safe practice in relation to public protection work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of public protection legislation and core operational processes.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure effective and safe practice in relation to public protection work.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and respond to people at risk of harm.
  • Provide training and support to staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in public protection.
About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, with a flexible approach to working hours. The successful candidate will have significant experience in a related field, excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, and the ability to translate national strategy to local context.
