The purpose of this role is to maintain the standard of written submissions to COPFS, including Standard Police Reports, and manage Procurator Fiscal correspondence. You will provide guidance to operational officers and perform various tasks related to criminal justice reporting.

You will require a good working knowledge of Scottish Criminal Law and preferably have previous experience in crime reporting and liaison with COPFS. A good level of clerical experience in an office environment is desired.

You will be able to exercise sound judgement, have good communication skills (orally and written), and have the ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal skills. You will also have experience of using computer packages.

All roles are expected to know, understand, and act within the Police Scotland Code of Ethics.

This role will be Monday-Friday, 9-5. A driving licence is desirable for this role.
