The Opportunity

We are seeking a Labelling Officer to join our team in Dundee. As a Labelling Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of production labels that meet current best practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect new labelling matter to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Complete quality documentation as per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
  • Operate labelling equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance labelling processes and procedures
  • Accurately control labelling stock to prevent errors and delays
  • Maintain and monitor labelling equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Work in accordance with Abbott's Health and Safety culture to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Knowledge of labelling programs and associated software to ensure version control and accuracy
  • Knowledge of GMP processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • National 4 or equivalent qualification in English, maths, or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining labelling equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Knowledge of fault finding on various types of equipment to minimize downtime and errors
  • Experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for labelling stock controls
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and customers
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in labelling processes
