About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Dundee Labelling department as a Labelling Officer. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of production labels that meet current best practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect new labelling matter, including label designs, IFUs, and artwork, to ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Complete quality documentation as per GMP requirements.
  • Operate labelling equipment and maintain its optimal performance.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities and accurately control labelling stock.
  • Monitor and maintain labelling equipment, including printers and cameras, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the Abbott Dundee Health & Safety culture.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of labelling programs and associated software, ensuring version control.
  • Knowledge of GMP processes and procedures.
  • Nat 4 or equivalent in English, maths, or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining labelling equipment.
  • Knowledge of fault finding on various types of equipment.
  • Experience in using ERP systems for labelling stock controls.
  • Driven and committed to meet customer performance and delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience and accept and follow up on the views and opinions of others.
  • Attention to detail.
