About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Labelling Officer to join our Dundee Labelling department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of production labels that meet current best practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect new labelling matter, including label designs, IFUs, and artwork, to ensure compliance with GMP requirements
  • Complete quality documentation as per GMP regulations
  • Operate labelling equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance labelling processes and efficiency
  • Accurately control labelling stock to prevent errors and delays
  • Maintain and monitor labelling equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Adhere to Abbott's Dundee Health & Safety culture and guidelines

Requirements

  • Knowledge of labelling programs and associated software, including version control
  • Understanding of GMP processes and procedures
  • Nat 4 or equivalent in English, maths, or equivalent experience demonstrating literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining labelling equipment
  • Knowledge of fault-finding on various types of equipment
  • Experience using ERP systems for labelling stock controls
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
