We are seeking a skilled and experienced Council Tax Billing Officer to join our team at NPT Pass. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely billing and collection of Council Tax.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a high standard of technical knowledge in Council Tax administration.
- Ensure taxpayers are billed accurately with all relevant discounts and exemptions in a timely manner.
- Undertake general activities in relation to the administration and recovery of Council Tax, including processing amendments to accounts, dealing with taxpayers, and processing direct debits.
- Carry out site inspections and visits as required.
- Sound financial and numeracy skills.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft packages.
- Ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment.
