The Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Criminology team as a permanent, full-time lecturer. This role involves delivering the WJEC Level 3 Criminology Curriculum and our Foundation Degree in Criminal Justice. As a member of our thriving department, you will contribute to a supportive and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
- Full-time, 37 hours per week
- £22,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Based at the Gorseinon and Tycoch Campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment
- Plan, prepare, and teach Level 3 Criminology/Foundation Degree in Criminal Justice, ensuring schemes of work and assessments align with the exam board specification
- Develop and implement teaching and learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Assess and monitor learner progress, setting targets and maintaining records of work and achievement
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, subject knowledge, and innovations in teaching and learning
About You:
- You have a passion for teaching and learning
- You hold a degree in Criminology or a relevant qualification
- You possess a teaching qualification or are willing to work towards one
- You have expertise in successful teaching
