The RoleWe are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Criminology team as a permanent, full-time lecturer. This role involves delivering the WJEC Level 3 Criminology Curriculum and our Foundation Degree in Criminal Justice. As a member of our thriving department, you will contribute to a supportive and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Criminology and Justice.
- Plan, prepare, and teach Level 3 Criminology/Foundation Degree in Criminal Justice, ensuring schemes of work and assessments align with exam board specifications.
- Develop and implement teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Assess and monitor learner progress, setting targets and maintaining records of work and achievement.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, subject knowledge, and innovations in teaching and learning.
- You have a passion for teaching and learning.
- You hold a degree in Criminology or a relevant qualification.
- You possess a teaching qualification or are willing to work towards one.
- You have expertise in successful teaching.
