Teaching Opportunity in Further Education

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Lecturer to join our team at Reed Further Education. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in further education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education)
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
