About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Night Manager to join our team at Bristol Harbour Hotel. As a key member of our night operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the night shift team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the hotel is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring that all guests are satisfied with their stay.
  • Conduct regular rounds of the hotel to ensure that all areas are secure and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Manage the hotel's night porter duties, including the handling of guest luggage and the maintenance of the hotel's exterior.
  • Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition of duties and to address any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including fire safety and emergency protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
