Assistant Night Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Night Manager to join our team at Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa. As an Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Night Manager in overseeing the hotel's night operations, including reception, housekeeping, and security.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Ensure the hotel's Health and Safety policies are adhered to, including Fire Safety procedures.
  • Perform night porter duties, including handling guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Run end-of-day reports and perform check-in and check-out processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good knowledge of reception, ideally with Opera
  • Experience in a hotel night environment
  • Self-motivation and a passion for service excellence
  • A sound knowledge of Health and Safety, including Fire Safety
