Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the UK HR function to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business, aligning HR strategies and objectives with the overall global business strategy.
- Partner with senior leaders to coach, develop, and upskill them on day-to-day employee issues, including absence, learning and development, succession planning, and talent management.
- Develop and manage a small HR team, supporting their growth and development while ensuring they deliver a high-quality HR service.
- Advise managers on employee relations issues, manage absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and proactively coach managers on performance management processes.
- Provide guidance to management on learning and development for their teams, implementing a training and development agenda and managing the recruitment process.
- Manage all compensation and benefit activities, including participation in salary and benefit surveys, benefit reviews, and benefit updates.
- Update all policies, handbooks, procedures, and processes, ensuring they are up-to-date and in line with current employment law and best practice.
- Support global change and organizational development projects.
- Experience of working in a commercial manufacturing business would be advantageous.
- Great communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task and juggle various projects.
- Previous experience of managing HRBP's, 'can-do' payroll, and a mix of operational and strategic background with a client group that has a blend of corporate/head office and blue-collar production/manufacturing people.
A competitive salary between £80,000 and £90,000, plus car allowance and benefits, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company.
