Network and Systems Administrator

We are looking for a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our IT Services department at The Kings School in Macclesfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our core IT systems and network infrastructure. You will also provide user support to ensure the continuity of all IT services throughout the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration and setup of all new server systems and networks
- Maintaining IT system security by implementing anti-virus, anti-spam, firewall, and access policies
- Monitoring and maintaining the network infrastructure, comprising HP Aruba switches & access points
The salary for this position is approximately £44,473 per annum, pro-rated to 2 days a week. This is a part-time, temporary on-site role with a fixed term contract starting December 2024 until 30 June 2025.
