About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Events Manager to join our dynamic team at STEM Women. As an Events Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality events year-round in Europe and Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Events to plan and execute events, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Conduct site visits to assess venue suitability, considering factors such as location, transportation, size, and cost.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date reports on potential venues for senior management use.
  • Coordinate event planning tasks, including venue logistics, floor plans, catering, people flow, and attendee experience.
  • Manage event-related marketing and onboarding materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Travel to event cities to manage event teams and troubleshoot any issues that arise on the day.
  • Collect feedback and data post-event and present reports to the company to inform future event improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Event Sourcing, to meet company-wide targets and stay within budget.

Requirements:

  • Must reside within commuting distance of Liverpool city centre.
  • University degree in any subject.
  • Commercial experience in events management, preferably in hospitality or recruitment events.
  • Knowledge of the graduate recruitment industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage relationships with suppliers, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with good report-keeping abilities and innovative thinking.
  • Ability and willingness to travel year-round for events.
