About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Axon Moore Group Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP and international accounting standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management to optimize financial performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including SOX principles, and maintain effective internal controls to prevent financial misstatement.
  • Taxation: Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance, including preparation of tax returns and payment of taxes due.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile sales, stock, and other balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of annual operating expense budgets and provide financial commentary to support business decisions.
  • Intercompany Balances: Manage and maintain intercompany balances for entities responsible for, and prepare month-end reporting statements and reconciliations.
  • Statutory Financial Statements: Prepare UK GAAP statutory financial statements and roll forwards of non-trading dormant companies.
  • Quarterly Reporting: Ensure timely completion of quarterly reporting, including attestations and internal audit.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualification: Professional accounting qualification, CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, including international exposure with accounting and reporting in various foreign currencies.
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, experience using SAP, and experience of consolidation reporting packages.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards.
