Home Support Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Care Companion to join our team and provide exceptional care services to our clients in the Borough Green area.
The successful candidate will have a warm and caring demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, while providing companionship and emotional support to our clients.
This is a flexible part-time opportunity, with a guaranteed contract of at least 10 hours per week. The hourly rate is £13.00, with additional pay for working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will also receive paid training and travel expenses reimbursed.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Engage in conversations and activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction
- Administer medication and assist with mobility as needed
- Maintain accurate records of client care and activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care or a related field (not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic first aid and medication administration training
- Able to commit to regular shifts, including weekends and evenings
