This highly commercial position reports directly to the Finance Director, offering exposure to the Senior Leadership Team.

About Our Client

The client is a medium-sized property and construction business based in Greater Manchester.

Following a recent restructure, they have created a Finance Business Partner role to drive the projected growth of the business.

They seek a fully qualified accountant with a few years of post-qualified experience and commercial finance exposure to work closely with the commercial finance team and report to the Finance Director.

A significant focus on business partnering is essential, requiring the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Job Description
  • Key member of the senior Finance team.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to provide and interpret financial and operational KPIs to inform operational decision-making and drive actions where needed.
  • Support and challenge operational teams in assessing new site appraisals, tracking existing site performance, and managing overheads in both financial and non-financial contexts.
  • Production of a comprehensive monthly Regional reporting pack, including financial reports provided by the Central Finance team, and commentary covering operational and financial performance in conjunction with the Managing Director.
  • Responsible for leading the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for the Region, working closely alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner and Central Finance team.
  • Specific projects and other analyses as required by the Divisional Managing Director, FD, CFO, and wider business.
The Successful Applicant

The client seeks a fully qualified accountant with circa 3-5 years PQE from a commercial finance background.

This Finance Business Partner role will report directly to the FD and the Senior Leadership Team.

As a member of the senior finance team, you will provide insight and support for the operational teams in the region.
