Job Opportunity: Regional Finance Business Partner

Gleeson Homes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Finance Business Partner to join our Central Division team. As a key member of the Finance team, you will work closely with the Regional Managing Director and other senior Regional management to provide financial leadership and support to operational teams in the Region.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with ideally 2-3 years of post-qualified experience. They will be an excellent communicator, able to present complex financial information to operational teams in a simple and clear manner. The ability to extract and manipulate data from the COINs ERP system is also essential.

The Regional Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing financial leadership, insight, and support to operational teams in the Region. They will work closely with the Central Finance team to ensure that financial performance is appropriately communicated across the Region and provide analysis and understanding around both financial and non-financial KPIs to help the Region achieve its growth targets.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, able to support change and drive targets to facilitate the successful growth of the Region. They will have excellent communication skills and proven ability to develop strong relationships with key operational stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the Finance team, working alongside existing Senior and Regional Finance Business Partners and supporting the Homes FD
  • Work closely with the Regional Managing Director providing and interpreting financial and operational KPI's to help inform operational decision making and driving actions where needed
  • Support and challenge Regional operational teams in assessing new site appraisals, tracking existing site performance, and overheads management both in a financial and non-financial context
  • Production of comprehensive monthly Regional reporting pack, including financial reports provided by the Central Finance team, and commentary covering operational and financial performance in conjunction with the Regional Managing Director
  • Responsible for leading on the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for the Region, working closely alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner and Central Finance team
  • Specific projects and other analysis as required by the Divisional Managing Director, Homes FD, CFO, and wider business
