Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary Hospital Team as a Social Work Team Lead. As a fully qualified Social Worker, you will work with both health and social care colleagues to deliver excellent social work services that make a real difference to adults in need of social care.

About the Role:

You will lead and manage our Senior Case Workers and Social Workers, and manage your own small, but complex, case load. With a shared responsibility for leading and managing within the wider team, you will support our duty function and deputise for the Team Manager and assist in the strategic planning and delivery of the service in line with our governance principles.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience in safeguarding, complex case work, resource allocation and funding
  • Passion for working with people to achieve the best outcomes
  • Ability to travel to other locations within Hampshire as necessary
