Job Overview:

As a Senior Social Care Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Senior Case Workers and Social Workers, providing exceptional social work services that make a real difference to adults in need of social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small, but complex, case load, using your excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop effective and positive relationships with individuals and professional health staff.
  • Support the duty function and deputise for the Team Manager, assisting in the strategic planning and delivery of the service in line with our governance principles.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve social work services, promoting the well-being and independence of individuals.

Requirements:

  • You will be a fully qualified Social Worker with significant experience in safeguarding, complex case work, resource allocation and funding.
  • You will be passionate about working with people to achieve the best outcomes, enabling individuals to be safe and as independent as possible.
  • You will be committed to our values and have a strong understanding of the importance of values-based recruitment.
