Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Van Vliet's head office in Crewes Hill, Enfield. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing professional IT services to 16 sites across the UK, both remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support for basic IT, networking, printer setup, and helpdesk support.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all 1st line IT issues.
  • Offer a sympathetic and understanding approach to all service users.
  • Produce follow-up actions and escalate as necessary within the business.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles and SLA.
  • Troubleshoot and configure technical issues.
  • Assist the IT Manager and Infrastructure team as needed.
  • Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing IT support role.
  • Familiarity with ticket systems, logging, and remote management and monitoring processes.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to work with network cables, switches, and patch panels.
  • Office Portal and Cloud Management experience.
  • Able to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, together with an analytical mindset.
  • Car driver (due to remote location).
