About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans and work closely with the team to ensure the highest possible standard of childcare is provided.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and external partners, promoting a culture of trust and respect.
  • Participate in activities and engage with young people, promoting their personal growth and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times, adhering to Ofsted standards and Bay View Childcare policies.

Requirements

  • Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families practitioner Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with young people, families, and external partners.
