About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our established Residential Team at Bay View. As a key member of our team, you will work in one of our family feel children’s homes in Heysham or rural North Lancaster, supporting young people aged 0-18 with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality care and support to young people, ensuring their physical, emotional and educational needs are met.
  • To work collaboratively with the team to create a safe, secure and homely environment that promotes positive relationships and a sense of belonging.
  • To contribute to the development of individual care plans and support the implementation of these plans.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of young people’s progress and well-being.
  • To work closely with families, friends and external agencies to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to supporting young people.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma Level in Working with Children & Young People or Level Children, Young People and Families practitioner Apprenticeship.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
