Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View Childcare. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with the children in your care, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met, and supporting them in achieving their personal goals.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and other team members to ensure the highest possible standard of childcare is provided, and that the National Standards laid down by Ofsted are consistently exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people in your care
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and risk assessments
  • Participate in regular supervisions and training sessions
  • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining a safe and secure environment

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children and Young People or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
