Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out duties as a Childcare Worker and Key Worker, ensuring the National Standards laid down by Ofsted are consistently exceeded.
  • To provide high-quality childcare, adhering to all legal requirements, Ofsted standards, and Bay View Childcare policies and procedures.
  • To build and maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and external bodies, as requested by the Registered Manager.
  • To contribute to a culture of trust and mutual respect between all involved in the Home, both children and staff.

Requirements:

  • Over 21 years of age and hold a full UK driving license.
  • Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
