Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met and their progress is monitored.
  • Participate in activities and outings with children, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team to maintain a safe, secure, and homely environment, adhering to Bay View's policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and external agencies, ensuring the smooth operation of the residential service.
Requirements:
  • Diploma Level in Working with Children & Young People or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
