Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, secure, and homely environment for children and young adults in our care.
  • Support the development of individual care plans and ensure their implementation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the creation of a culture of trust and mutual respect within the home.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of childcare is provided at all times.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Be over 21 years of age and hold a full UK driving license.
  • Be willing to undertake a DBS check at enhanced level.
