Role Overview

Academics is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with varying individual needs and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas of improvement and adapting teaching strategies as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with classroom support assistants and on-site professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and engaging school culture that promotes student well-being and academic success

Requirements

  • QTS and experience teaching young people with SEN
  • Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
