Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the asphalt plant, ensuring efficient production and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all health and safety instructions are followed on site.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on site.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checks as assigned and sign off accordingly.
  • Encourage staff to report near misses and forward them as required.
  • Inform the Foreman/Production Supervisor of any developing problems with staff or machinery.
  • Assist the Foreman/Production Supervisor in managing contractors and visitors.
  • Work with the Foreman/Production Supervisor to ensure all staff follow environmental management system requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman/Production Supervisor to ensure all staff adhere to quality management system requirements and provide high-quality service standards.
Education and Qualifications
  • Hold a QCF in Plant Operations or be willing to work towards it.
  • Full training will be provided, and experience is not necessary.
