Job Summary

About the Role
  • As an Eating Disorders Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to service users in their homes or community settings, promoting independence and recovery through practical assistance and emotional guidance.
  • You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery, incorporating physical health management, mental health support, and social care needs.
  • A valid UK driving license and vehicle for business use are required, with reasonable adjustments made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Essential Requirements
  • GCSE/GCE or equivalent qualification in English is mandatory for this position.
  • Experience of working with people who have complex health and mental health needs is essential, as well as managing aspects of physical health care such as weight monitoring and GP liaison.
  • Awareness of equality and diversity, health problems, and interventions is also crucial, alongside understanding safeguarding procedures and confidentiality requirements.
Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
