About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our team at CV-Library's Residential Children's Home in Derby.

CV-Library is dedicated to empowering the futures of children and young people with emotional behaviour difficulties, using the therapeutic trauma-informed PACE approach.

Job Description
  • Supervise and lead junior staff members during shifts, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
  • Manage daily tasks and activities, including recording incidents and maintaining accurate records
  • Provide individualised care and support to young people, prioritising their well-being and emotional needs
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable environment, adhering to health and safety standards and performing general housekeeping duties
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to deliver optimal care and support, fostering positive relationships
  • Encourage young people's engagement in education and activities, promoting academic growth and development

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (Essential)
  • Experience working in a children's home setting (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Age requirement: over 21 years old

  • An annual salary between £28,000 - £30,160, dependent on qualifications (£13.50 per hour), with £65 per night for sleep ins
