Seeking an Experienced Children's Home Leader

We invite applications from seasoned professionals looking to assume the role of a Children's Home Manager at our 3-bed EBD residence in Moseley, Birmingham. This leadership position calls for an individual who can effectively manage the care and support provided to children, prioritizing their individual needs and ensuring a high standard of care.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Direct the home's operations in accordance with Ofsted guidelines and relevant legislation
  • Collaborate with staff to establish personalized care strategies that align with each child's unique requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to employees to ensure adherence to vital safeguarding principles and governance protocols
  • Oversee the hiring process, including training and professional growth opportunities for team members
  • Commit to maintaining an exemplary level of service quality, continually striving for 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings from Ofsted

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Degree in Leadership & Management for Children's Residential or equivalent academic background
  • At least 3 years of direct experience working with children and young adults within residential environments
  • Proven track record as a supervisor or leader within a residential setting
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory

Estimated Annual Income: £55,000 - £72,000, based on a regular full-time employment arrangement (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm) and an all-encompassing compensation package.
