Senior Power Management Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Powernomics expert to join our team at Rivos in Silicon Valley. This exciting opportunity involves designing and optimizing power management features for cutting-edge hardware.
About the Job
- In close collaboration with the Performance Team, you will analyze power behavior of key workloads on Rivos' architecture.
- You will define and extend power management features to maximize performance under power and current constraints.
- Working closely with micro-architecture and design teams, you will bring new features to product-level quality.
- Collaborate with simulation teams to prototype features and analyze benefits pre-silicon.
- Integrate heuristics into firmware code and simulation models with FW and SW teams.
- Assist in post-silicon bringup and characterization of the power-management architecture on Rivos' devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with CPU/GPU/SoC power management architecture feature definition (power capping, thermal control, current capping, DVFS).
- Familiarity with power/performance modeling using simulators is preferred.
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter capable of driving tasks from start to finish.
Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, Rivos offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous time-off policies.
