We are looking for a Senior Field Engineer Leader to join our team and lead our tree cutting electrical provision team within Ground Control's operational area with UK Power Networks in EPN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering your own tree cutting related power outages and leading and managing the electrical provision team to ensure that all programmes of work are delivered to time and budget and in line with contractual commitments to time, cost and quality.

This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills and expertise in electrical shutdown provision processes, rules and regulations. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of UK Power Networks electrical shutdown provision processes, rules and regulations and hold a Full UK Driving Licence. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • Be a Senior Authorised Person with Field Control as defined by the UK Power Networks Distribution Safety Rules.
  • Educated to HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A broad understanding of UK Power Networks electrical shutdown provision processes, rules and regulations.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
