CNC Field Maintenance Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join Heathcote Recruitment Ltd as a CNC Field Maintenance Engineer. As a CNC Field Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out health and safety checks on CNC machines at various clients' premises in the Cambridge area.

The ideal candidate will have experience running CNC milling machines and setting and operating 4 or 5 axis high-speed machines. They will also have a strong understanding of machine guarding, door interlocks, emergency stops, and other critical systems.

As a CNC Field Maintenance Engineer, you will work Monday to Friday, with occasional overnight stays required. The company offers a competitive salary of £33,000 + £3,300 bonus, plus company van, pension, lunch allowance, breakfast allowance, and loads of training.

In this role, you will shadow someone to begin with and then take on more responsibilities. The company has an excellent reputation and supplies high-spec CNC Machine Tools to precision engineering manufacturers.

Engineering experience is essential, and a hands-on CNC machinist who has done their own machine maintenance would be great. You may be someone who has been a UK Service Engineer looking for a more regional-based role.
