Customer Operations Manager

At Amazon, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Management Operations professional, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our European transportation network.
Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage a large team responsible for 24x7 frontline operations for both Inbound and Off-Amazon transportation. You'll work closely with Shippers, Carriers, the Amazon Freight business team, Supply Chain, and Retail organizations to determine future demand for transportation resources and translate that into accurate capacity plans.
Key Responsibilities- Gather functional requirements and convert them into a realistic, detailed functional spec and project plan.
- Prioritize competing projects across departments and focus individual and team projects for an entire group or department, or a major piece of a larger cross-company product or project.
- Serve as an escalation point for shipper support leads.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction from senior managers, with the appropriate corrective actions being driven.
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in team management, program or project management, and working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Experience delivering cross-functional projects and defining program requirements using data and metrics to determine improvements.
