Quality Control Inspector

Motability Operations is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Coalville. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our vehicles meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect all stock vehicles entering the preparation department in a timely manner.
- Identify areas of concern, including scratches, dents, and poor previous repairs.
- Allocate rectification to the correct department, i.e., Bodyshop or SMART repair.
- Liaise with the Bodyshop and SMART department management teams.
- Report Health and Safety issues to shift management immediately.
- Raise issues to management as soon as possible.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Achieve the KPIs attributed to this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar job role, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and adapt your inspection as per required amendments.
- A good level of experience within a Vehicle Inspection/Assessment and/or Bodyshop position.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
- Proven organisational skills and effective communicator.
- Have a flexible and 'can do' approach to work.
- Ability to work fast and efficiently.
- Disciplined and process driven.
- Fast-paced mindset.
- Keen eye for detail.
