About The Role

Motability Operations is a unique organisation, virtually one of a kind. We combine a strong sense of purpose with a real commercial edge to ensure we provide the best possible worry-free mobility solutions to our customers and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspecting Vehicles

    Inspect all stock vehicles entering the preparation department in a timely manner.

  2. IDentifying Defects

    Identify all areas of concern including scratches, dents and poor previous repairs.

  3. Rectification Allocation

    Allocate rectification to correct department i.e. Bodyshop or SMART repair.

  4. Liaising with Departments

    Liaise with the Bodyshop and SMART department management teams.

  5. Health and Safety

    Report Health and Safety issues to shift management immediately.

  6. Issue Raising

    Raise issues to the management as soon as possible.

  7. Work Area Maintenance

    Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have to have previous experience in a similar job role, be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to adapt your inspection as per required amendments.

Minimum Criteria
  • Experience

    A good level of experience within a Vehicle Inspection/Assessment and/or Bodyshop position.

  • Full UK Driving Licence

    Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Teamwork and Adaptability

    Comfortable working alone or as part of a team.

  • Organisational Skills

    Proven organisational skills and effective communicator.
