Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high expectations.
- Team Supervision: Supervise our culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Operations Management: Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans to drive sales and growth.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image, promoting our values and mission.
- Concept Development: Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations and build strong relationships.
- Training and Development: Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role and achieve their full potential.
- Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements:
- Catering Experience: A minimum of two years of catering experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional food and customer service.
- Team Management: Experience managing teams in a similar role, with a focus on leadership, motivation, and development.
- Certifications: Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive sales growth.
- Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ambition and Motivation: Be an ambitious and motivated individual, always looking to upskill and develop their career.
