We are seeking a highly skilled Spa Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our newly opened outdoor Spa at The Barnsdale hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a proven track record in managing spa operations.

The Spa Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of delivery in our range of massage treatments, managing a team of therapists, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. If you have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and take overall responsibility for the Spa operation at the hotel.
  • Be welcoming, friendly, professional, discreet, and tactful in all communications with clients.
  • Deliver our wonderful therapies to the highest possible standards.
  • Manage, motivate, and train team members through inspirational leadership.
  • Attend and actively participate in regular management meetings.
  • Have an understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Complete all rotas to provide cover for the spa in line with the wage cost budget.
  • Have experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
  • Have Pool Emergency Responder qualification (preferable).
  • Have Pool Plant Operator Level 3 qualification (preferable).
  • Have IOSH / NEBOSH or another relevant, recognised H&S qualification (preferable).
