Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with an estimated salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a team of 3 and drive key learning solutions across Culina Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with senior stakeholders, managing a mentor scheme, and delivering training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead, manage, and develop a team of 2 L&D Partners and one Digital Content Creator, ensuring they are well supported in their wellbeing and personal development.
  • Mentor Scheme: Promote and manage the mentor scheme to support the growth and development of employees.
  • PDP Results: Accountable for the Groups PDP results plus other KPIs.
  • L&D Prospectus: Responsible for ensuring the L&D prospectus is fit for purpose and regularly reviewed to align with business needs.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver the Senior Leadership program to circa 50 participants.
  • Skills Matrix: Collaborate with senior management to create a skills matrix.
  • Investors in People: Manage the Investors in People process.
  • Training Calendars: Oversee training calendars for the L&D team.
  • New Colleague Induction: Ensure the induction of all new L&D colleagues.
  • Career Development Paths: Work closely with key stakeholders to design career development paths.
