Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction of the Brandywine Health Foundation. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the operational infrastructure, ensuring the effective implementation of the foundation's business plan, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Plan Development: Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive business plan, aligning with the foundation's mission and strategic priorities.
  2. Operational Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the efficient operation of the foundation's programs, services, and administrative functions.
  3. Financial Management: Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage the foundation's budget, ensuring effective financial planning and resource allocation.
  4. Change Management: Lead the foundation's change management efforts, ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and systems.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the foundation's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of five years of experience in operational and financial management in a complex, nonprofit environment.
  2. Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Effectiveness, or a related field.
  3. Strong strategic and business planning acumen, accompanied by excellent financial management and grants and fund accounting abilities.
  4. Proven track record of providing financial analysis for key strategy and investment decisions.
  5. Strong understanding and working knowledge of database management systems and dashboard reporting.
