Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the organization's strategic goals into specific operational objectives, managing policies and procedures, finance and budgeting, fundraising, performance measurement and management, and enterprise risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardize operational workflows, including client relationship management reporting, billing, policies and procedures.
  • Manage a dashboard of key performance indicators and create outcome metrics.
  • Develop and implement a compliance and risk engagement framework.
  • Oversee grant management of all organizational grants and proposals.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers, including accountants, auditors, and legal experts.
  • Lead the performance management process, measuring and evaluating progress against goals for the organization.
  • Oversee current technology infrastructure and scope out the next level of information technology and financial systems to support the growth of the organization.
  • Manage direct reports, including those overseeing HR and project management functions.
  • Assist the Executive Director with special projects related to communications, fundraising, philanthropic activities, and coordination between the organization's board and partners.
Requirements
  • MBA or MPA degree.
  • Ability to think creatively and lead multiple projects from initiation to completion in collaboration with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage budgets, reporting, and performance management for organizational growth.
  • Experience with client relationship management tools, such as CRM software systems, and bookkeeping tools.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position.
  • Remote work arrangement, with teammates located in NYC and Philadelphia.
  • Domestic travel may be required.
