Chief Operating Officer

The Brandywine Health Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to drive the organization's operational infrastructure and strategic growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the COO will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, overseeing community investments, and ensuring the foundation's financial and operational processes are efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Business Plan Development and Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement a 5-year business plan, driving strategic growth and operational efficiency.
- Community Investments and Partnerships: Work closely with the CEO and board to establish and articulate the organization's mission-aligned investing vision, overseeing community investments and partnerships that drive social impact.
- Financial Management and Operations: Oversee the development and implementation of robust financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring the foundation's financial health and operational efficiency.
- Change Management and Regulatory Compliance: Lead the organization's change management efforts, ensuring a smooth transition to new policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Culture and Inclusive Environment: Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect, promoting a positive and productive work environment that values diversity and equity.
- A minimum of five years of operational and financial management experience in a complex, nonprofit environment.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Effectiveness, or a related field.
- Strong strategic and business planning acumen, accompanied by strong financial management and grants and fund accounting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A sense of humor and positive relationship-building skills.
