Recruit to Train – Band 6 Systemic Psychotherapy Modality

The NHS has an exciting opportunity to recruit a trainee to join our Emotional & Behavioral Team in Luton CAMHS, or Central Bedfordshire CAMH Access Service.

This is a unique chance to develop your skills as a Systemic Psychotherapy Practitioner while working with children and young people in a mental health setting. You will be training on the Children & Young People Mental Health (CYP-MH) Systemic Practitioner Course (Conduct Disorder) and carrying out clinical work in our service to complement your studies.

As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced clinicians and receive regular supervision to support your development. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with other agencies involved in the care of the children and young people on your caseload.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a registerable professional qualification in a relevant subject and a minimum second-class Bachelor's Degree from a UK University or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. You should also have at least two years' experience of working with children/young people in a mental health setting.

The successful candidate will be required to apply to the University at the same time as applying to this job position. Please note that this is a dual application process, and you must be employed in a Recruit to Train funded job to receive a place on the course.

Person Specification

  • Registerable professional qualification in a relevant subject.
