Our aim is to ensure the children and young people living in the Pan Bedfordshire area (Luton, Central Bedfordshire and Bedford) have every opportunity to achieve their full potential. We are excited about taking forward real opportunities for maximising the best outcomes for children, young people and their families.

If you are passionate about safeguarding and have experience of working in a safeguarding position and if you share our enthusiasm and commitment to creating the very best opportunities for children and young people in Luton, we want to hear from you

Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, we are proud to provide high quality innovative services across most of the east of England that enable people to receive care closer to home and live healthier lives.

The post holder will work as part of the safeguarding team with responsibility and professional accountability as specialist nurse for safeguarding children. Assist the Named Professional to identify areas of improvement through quality assurance and audit, which will provide evidence to support the Clinical Governance Framework.

Contribute to the development, delivery and facilitation of the Safeguarding Training Plan to enable staff members to be equipped with the competencies, knowledge and awareness to respond appropriately to any safeguarding children concerns.
